COL: Spear Mintcepton

This one was a sweet collaboration between myself and the indomitable Ric-M. He drew the backgrounds, the human character and colored everything in, and I drew the ponies.

The more astute of you may notice the pony in this picture is the same one adamlhumphreys made a plush of for me a while ago. That pony (and the subsequent human counterpart), for those of you that don't know, is Spear Mint, an original character of mine and the only one of the "Mint Triplets" who actually made it past concept stage (Winter Mint and Cinnamon are on the way... eventually.).

Anyway, this was a lot of fun to do, and I for one am super-pleased with how it turned out. Ric-M is a fantastic artist, and it was such a joy to get to work with him on this. Ric, thanks for the good times.

^{_{Also, you may notice that I uploaded this even after my laptop died. It's cuz Ric did all the lineart and coloring and those kinds of things that I was no longer able to do. All I did was sketch in some ponies and e-mail the scan to him.}}
